What is Chatrandom?

Is Vawkr safe?

Safety on a random cam site comes down to two things: what the site can see, and what you can do when someone misbehaves.

• Nothing is recorded or stored. Video and audio go from your browser to theirs, directly where the connection allows and otherwise through an encrypted relay that keeps nothing.
• Reporting has teeth. Tap the flag above the other person's video, pick a reason, and the connection ends immediately. A still frame goes to human moderators, and Block is on by default so you are never paired with that person again. Repeat offenders are banned.
• 18+ only, with an age confirmation before the chat.

Two honest limits: with a direct connection the other person may see your IP address, and anything on your screen can be recorded on their end. Keep your camera on what you are happy for a stranger to see, and keep personal details out of the text box.
