What was Stickam, and why do people still miss it?

What is different now, honestly?

Vawkr is not a Stickam clone, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. Here is what you will not find:

• No live shows. Nobody broadcasts to an audience, and there is no audience to build.
• No group rooms. It is one person at a time, every time.
• No profiles or follower counts. You are a face and a voice for as long as the conversation lasts.
• No archive. Nothing is recorded or stored.

What you gain is a conversation that actually happens. Video and audio travel between the two browsers, directly where the connection allows and otherwise through an encrypted relay that keeps nothing. Two honest limits: with a direct connection the other person may see your IP address, and anything on your screen can be recorded by the person watching it, so show only what you are happy to show.

If something goes wrong, tap the flag above the other person's video. You pick a reason, the connection ends immediately, a still frame goes to human moderators, and Block is on by default so you are never paired with that person again. Repeat offenders are banned. Stickam never gave you a button like that, and it makes a difference.
